HEALING "Is Healing for today?" YES!! (Hebrews 13:8 ESV) Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.(Acts 10:37-38 ESV) you yourselves know what happened throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John proclaimed: (38) how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. (1 Peter 2:24 ESV) He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
"Why do Christians still get sick?" - Lack of Knowledge. (Hosea 4:6 ESV) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge... (Romans 10:17 ESV) So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. (Romans 10:14 ESV) How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? The lack of knowledge is a result
of the men and women called of God to preach being themselves ignorant of what the Word of God says about healing. Christians
must be taught that healing is for today. That is why so many fall victim to disease and sickness, it is because they
have not been taught what the Word really says about healing. |
