Pastor Tonja Alexander is a powerful instrument of God. She has the spirit and ability to reach people from all lifestyles and walks of life. She is known for speaking candidly of her personal trials and tests in life and the loving power and sustaining grace of her Savior to heal brokenness. Pastor Alexander uses her life’s experiences along with humor and a “no fear” attitude, to speak openly and honestly about issues such as having been a single mother at the age of 14 and a divorcee 3 times over, surviving spousal abuse, being delivered from the spirit of lust, attacks of deep depression, abandonment and self esteem. Because of what she has experienced in her own life and marriages, God has given her a burden and compassion to reach, reconcile, and restore hurting women to the Lord, through her own brokenness and experiences.

God has enabled her to reach deep into the hearts of women of all ages to minister to their broken places with healing, deliverance and wholeness. Through this gift, God has opened the door and allowed her to speak to many. Her infectious love and interest for others gives her the ability to develop genuine relationships and meet people where they are. She has a deep concern for the spiritual development of “new” Christians.

Pastor Alexander has ministered in several states across the country. Anointed in the gifts of healing and prophecy, she has worked in the healing and deliverance ministry of Prophetic Word Ministries, Belzoni , MS , as assistant to Prophet Tom Spencer III .

Pastor Alexander has served on the ministerial staff of Word of Faith Christian Center in Peoria , IL where she served faithfully under the leadership of her Pastor, Bishop Leroy Davis. She was called to teach the Living Word in 1994. Although Pastor Alexander believes that the call of God supersedes positions and titles it is noteworthy that in 1995 she became a licensed minister and after years of instruction and guidance was ordained as Reverend by Bishop Davis on February 4, 2001 . She has served at Word of Faith in various capacities including Media Manger and Director of the Phone Prayer Ministry. She understands the importance of the blessing inherited from honoring the men and women of God who have been called to the pastorate. She has proved to be highly effective as Senior Armor Bearer and also the Administrator of the Power of Twelve.
